In July, Lydd Dojo hosted the summer Gasshuku. The event had the largest attendance in years! Clubs which were represented came from Norway, Andover, Canons, South Mitcham, Tadworth, Chichester, Dover, Hawkinge, Marsh Academy and of course, Lydd.

Shihan Chris Thompson lead two full days on the Saturday and Sunday, covering all the aspects of karate training, as well as some Shodan & Sandan gradings on the Saturday afternoon. A very successful 2024 Summer Gasshuku!
